Our Spring Book Sale

Join us on Friday April 6th and Saturday April 7th for our annual Spring Book Sale. Located in the main meeting room at the library, we will open our book storage doors and have everything for sale. From fiction to non-fiction, children’s books, antique books, we have it all! And our prices can’t beat; $1 for hardbacks and $.50 for softcover. Special pricing on antique and coffee table books.

Sands, Snakes and Silver Wings: Women Pilots of World War II

Storyteller Rebecca Hom will share the stories of several Womens’ Airforce Service Pilots, (WASPs) as well as the history of the program. The WASPs were an essential part of the US military’s air efforts during WWII. This presentation is part of the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the North Mason Timberland Library who are sponsoring the event and will conduct a brief business meeting prior to the performance. This event is part of “20 for 20” a year-long celebration of our building’s 20th year.
